NARRATIVE SERIES OF THE 1990s

The series of the 1990s were deeply informed by the politics of subtle social cues, particularly those embedded in early childhood experiences, belief systems, narratives, and interactions. My practice was imbued with old-master  techniques – using oils, encaustics and varnishes – that were both an homage to the past and a testament to the strength of visual nostalgia and the power of the surface.
