Born and works in Montréal, Québec.
Studied from 1966 to 1972 at New York Studio School, École des Beaux-Arts (Montréal),Pratt Institute in New York, the Boston Museum School, and the Skowhegan School of Painting and Drawing.
Member of faculty at Concordia University since 1984.
Member of the Royal Canadian Academy of the Arts since 2013.
